It’s been a while since I have updated this part of my blog. This is supposedly the easiest way for me to ensure that I write at least once a week, but it has started to feel like I wasn’t writing at all. I have considered deleting this section altogether, but I thought it would also be nice to cap off Sunday evenings with this. So, I guess I’m back to writing Sunday Currently posts, and I just hope that I’ll be able to do it more consistently this time. Anyway, here it goes…
reading articles and comments in response to the controversial post by Manny Pacquiao concerning LGBTs. Seriously, people, he simply quoted the Bible; those were not his words. He was not condemning anyone at all, but spreading the Word of God. It’s a good thing, however, that the community is reacting. (Reminds me of what Mark Twain once said about reading the Bible.) Obviously, the Word of God had stirred something in them. The only question is what they would do about it now that they are confronted with the truth.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT)
writing a list of things to do this coming week. It’s a good thing there are no classes tomorrow, since it is considered the town’s fiesta.
listening to the kiddie program (art show) my daughters are watching on TV.
thinking I’d better go to bed now, it’s already way past our bedtime, but I couldn’t pry my fingers away from the keyboard.
smelling what’s left of our dinner this evening, which was corned beef.
wishing my Big Baby A would be fully recovered from her illness soon.
hoping to make some changes in the house. It would require some budget, but that’s okay than spending money on things that I won’t really remember buying at all.
wearing my favorite black tank top–I’ve had this for more than 10 years now and it’s still in good condition, except that it’s no longer as black as it used to be–and black shorts with floral print.
loving the comfort of our home, especially after having stayed in the hospital for three consecutive days
wanting to read a new novel. I’m very disappointed that when my Scribd app subscription expired, all the books that I have downloaded were no longer accessible. Really, Scribd, couldn’t you at least have let me keep at least one book for each month that I was paying a subscription fee?
needing to both work and rest some more. Could one possibly do both at the same time?
feeling tired but hopeful that things will soon turn out well, starting with the master’s bedroom. The more I try to declutter, the less organized it appears. lol.
clicking the TV remote control as soon as my daughters are done watching TV. It’s my turn to watch, and I kinda missed it, y’ know?
praying that no one in my family and close relatives, including myself, would ever get sick and hospitalized ever again.
